By 2030, the EU will reduce CO2 emissions by 55% (compared to 1990). This is part of the EU's large and important legislative package "Fit For 55".
In addition, the EU has adopted targets for the production and use of energy by 2030:
- The EU must increase the share of energy consumption in the EU from renewable energy sources such as solar, hydro and wind by 32%.
- The EU must improve the efficiency of energy consumption by at least 32.5% (e.g. through better insulation of buildings).
With the future focus on green transition, Armiga A/S has therefore chosen to invest in a 150 kWh solar cell system, which will be installed and ready for operation in March 2023.
